Into the Tub! #1 The Chocolates and the Crown edition by Yu No Hu Children eBooks
This book is fun. To me as a parent, though, its biggest strength is the way in which it teaches kindness by example.A previous reviewer compared Yu No Hu's writing to that of Terry Pratchett. I think that is only part of the story. In the description of the childrens' parents' and life, Yu No Hu is definitely channeling Roald Dahl. In the relationship between the children and in the relationship between their world and ours I see an homage to C.S. Lewis and Narnia.
Hu writes successfully: my children, particularly my seven year old, have asked to go back to reading "Into the Tub" many times. Because of the kindness built into the book, I'm happy to have them do it.

Into the Tub! #1 The Chocolates and the Crown edition by Yu No Hu Children eBooks Reviews
Yu No Hu's writing style is reminiscent of Terry Pratchett and a few other fantasy writers that specialize in the whimsical and multidimensional style of story telling.
Very fast paced story, easy to read, with a great sense of humor I think children and the parents reading to them will love.
I am looking forward to reading other works by Yu No Hu. ;)
My 7 year old son and I had a great time reading this book and we can't wait to read the next one! A darling idea to have the tub drain into another world! He loved the idea of getting a super power like the ability to walk through walls, and then getting to use it one more time when the kids came back to their own world. We were all giggly about Auntie Crummit's choice of words describing her niece and nephew, such as "You filthy cankerous boil!" or "You disgusting little mucous!" or our favorite, "You foul blister!" Oh, we just cracked up!
As a parent, I did appreciate the moral to the story, of being kind and helpful to those in need, even if some are unkind to you. This book is a delight! Thanks YU NO HU! A pleasure to read!
The book didn't download on my tablet, so I never got a chance to read it. The summary seemed OK.
Eight year old daughter loved the story. My 13 year old laughed when we did a family read a loud. Simple vocabulary with 2 interesting characters and funny sketches. Girls want to read the next one to see what happens.
